Develop a tool that can autonomously identify faculty & researchers in a given area of research. The tool must also generate their profiles using the provided template.
Teams are encouraged to design a comprehensive approach that includes scanning from academic institutions and other websites, integration with open-source repositories like google scholar, google patent, semantic scholar, and interfacing with relevant service providers.
Round 1:
Teams must submit a proposal and a demo in the form of tool MVP capable of crawling a faculty webpage to extract profile information in the specified format.
Round 2:
Qualifying teams must submit the complete design of the tool/ software and present it in front of the Judges Panel.

One team can have at most 4 participants for this competition.
The Gmail ID which was used to Sign In is the Registered Mail ID. It is a unique identity of any participant. It will be used in adding team members in a team, joining a pre-existing team etc.
The CA referral ID can be added on the participation registration page. It is not compulsory.
Only the team leader has the right to add members in a team. However, others can join an existing team by clicking on the Join Team button.
Yes, follow these steps to get added to a team. Join team -> Enter required details. You will be added to that team.
Follow this process: www.techfest.org -> (hover on) Competitions -> Competitions -> Researcher Discovery Platform -> Explore -> Register -> Fill all your details -> Team -> Create a team -> Use the Registered Mail ID of other participants to add them to your team. They must be already registered before adding them to your team.
Click on the Remove Member button and then select the member you wish to remove.
If the team leader leaves their team, the team will get dissolved. The other members of the team will then have to create a new team.
No, it is not necessary. The team leader can add one member or none, only once, which is while creating the team, but if the team is not full and they want to add more members afterwards, then members (to be added) will have to use the Join Team button to join the team.
Click on the Leave Team button and you will be removed from the registered team.
Only the team leader can delete the team using the Dissolve Team button.
No, you can’t change the team leader of your team. However, you can dissolve the team and form a new one.
Yes, students from different colleges can form a team.
Yes, you can participate in more than one competition. However, it is recommended to focus on only one competition as there may be some chances of slot clash.
On clicking the single participant option, you will be given a team ID. Other people can join your team using your team ID but you can't join any other team. You have to leave the team to join another team.
You can join only one team in one competition. Participating in more than one team will get you DISQUALIFIED.
