Techfest Olympiad presents students with a platform to develop and showcase their scientific and practical life problem-solving skills. All participants have to solve the maximum number of questions in a specified time interval to compete with the brightest minds of the country. Only Standard 8th to 12th students are eligible to participate. THERE IS NO REGISTRATION FEE!
Stage 1:
This stage will be an Objective based exam consisting of questions from Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Logical Reasoning for 8th to 10th class students and Physics,Chemistry, Mathematics and HOTS for 11th and 12th class students.Date of examination is 16th October and will be completely online
Stage 2:
Personal Interview round to be taken by professors of IIT Bombay testing critical thinking and pressure handling skills.

How to register for Techfest Olympiad ?
Follow these steps for registration: Go to www.techfest.org -> Competitions -> Techfest Olympiad Online -> Explore -> Register -> Fill all your details. You will be registered.

Is it free to register for Techfest Olympiad?
Yes, there is no registration fee for Techfest Olympiad.

What kind of device do I need to participate?
You can give the exam on a laptop or PC with a webcam or with a smartphone having a front camera

How do I login to give the exam?
A link will be sent to you over Email and sms which you can use to give the exam. The link will also be visible on our website on the day of the Exam.

What do I need to prepare for the Exam?
Questions will be based on the Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology covering CBSE syllabus from Class 8th to 12th, along with some logical reasoning questions.

Is the competition online?
Yes, all the stages will happen in a completely online mode.
- The exam is going to be Online on the platform of Unacademy (link to be shared once on free registration)
- After the results are announced, Techfest will conduct a basic evaluation to determine if the learners have appeared for the test in an ethical and proper manner.
- Only the Top 3 Students of each category will get to visit IIT Bombay for Free* during Techfest 2022.
