The Indian Army needs to carry a tent everywhere they go, and plant it wherever they need it to. Participants are supposed to help the Army by analysing the present structure and designing new 3D models of light-weight yet strong joineries that hold the Barrack together.

How to register?

Follow these steps for registration : -> (hover on)Competitions -> Competitions -> Altair -> Explore More -> Register -> Fill all your details -> You will be registered, now you have to register on Altair Website - You will find Tutorials for Altair softwares and the competition problem statement there.

What is the Registered Mail Id of a person?

The Gmail Id, which was used to Sign In, is the Registered mail Id. It is a Unique Identity of any participant. It will be used in Adding Team members in a Team, Joining a Pre-existing team, etc.

Are all 6 questions compulsory to qualify for the competition?

No, each question holds some points, and solving the maximum number of questions increases your chance to win. We will also announce winners of each question separately, and those winners will get rewards seperately.

How many people can participate in a team?

This is a single participant competition, i.e. one team can consist of only one person.

Do I have to use Altair softwares for the competition?

Yes, you have to use the Altair software which is specified at the end of every Sub Problem. We have a webinar to explain the softwares, and they are easy to use themselves. You can download the softwares for free at the link given.

I don’t know how to use the softwares, what do I do?

You can attend the webinar to get insights into the softwares. The problem statement has tutorials as well to help participants.

Will we get a Certificate of participation?

Top 60% participants will get a Certificate of participation

1. Every team has to register online on the official Techfest website AND Altair website for the competition. Failure to register at any one website can lead to disqualification.

3. A Team ID will be allocated to the team on registration, which shall be used for future references.
4. The decision of the organizers or judges shall be treated as final and binding on all.
5. No responsibility will be held by Techfest, IIT Bombay, for any late, lost, or misdirected entries.
6. The idea presented by the teams should be original (not protected by means of patent/copyright/technical publication by anyone).
7. Note that the latest information will be on the website at any point of time. However, registered participants will be informed through mail about any changes.
