Zero Energy Building

Develop a Zero Energy Building for a sustainable living
(Registrations Closed)

A green building is essentially a building which is designed bio-climatically, consuming less water, optimizing energy efficiency, using recycled/renewable materials, generating less waste, both during construction/post construction and providing safe and healthy living space for its residents. At a time when climate change and environment have become crucial topics of discussion, the number of green buildings is expected to increase manifold. Built with an intention to protect the environment by using non-toxic materials like solar panels, wind turbines, rainwater harvesting systems, composting systems etc. green buildings are said to help in energy conservation. Through this workshop you will be able to learn 'Green building' and will be able to achieve both active and passive thermal comfort. This workshop will help you understand construction methodologies and structuring strategies for 'Green Compliance' through 'Green Renovation' and 'Revitalization techniques'.
