ABOUT

Almost everything we use now is a result of industrial production. The more complex the machinery, more is the risk of breakdowns and failures. The current drawn by a machine is usually a good indicator to check its functioning. Techfest unleashes a unique challenge Overwatch where enthusiasts can contribute in this sector of growing significance. Contestants are required to build a device to monitor the machine and a mobile application to observe the results. If you are interested in electrical circuits or coding, then this should definitely be your dream competition.

TASK

The competition requires the participants to come up with a system to automatically sends alert on a mobile application if a bottleneck machine is broken down and have an algorithm to calculate the potential loss for the business.

Why do I need to submit an abstract?
So that we can review your progress and know about the genuinity of your car.

Who can participate ?
Student from any college or university with a valid ID card can participate in the competition.

How many persons can be there in one team?
One team can have maximum 4 members.

Can a team have person from different colleges?
Yes.

Can I register in more than one competition?
Yes, you can participate in more than one competition. It is recommended to focus on one competition as there may be some chances of slot clash.

What should I do if I want to change my team member?
The participants who wish to change their team member will have to register once again with the details about their new team member, the new team formed will be provided with a different team id.

Come and build your own beast machine at Overwatch. Techfest 2017-18 gives you an opportunity to build your own IC car and prove your mettle against other racers on the track at Overwatch.
