       Yashdeep Kumar

Director of Stryker Global Technology Center, India.

    Synopsis

    Title:"What's in it for you?"

Engineers often believe that they have nothing to contribute to the medical world but quite the contrary the engineers can contribute a lot and make a difference. Engineers are involved in development of medical applications and technologies that are truly the latest and the most advanced in the world. For example, we are currently developing the latest versions of a whole suite of Navigation Applications, in collaboration with Stryker Germany, which help in joint replacement surgeries. Engineers can also engage in development of new and improved designs for a variety of surgical and support equipments. This is a very unique and diverse field that very few engineers in India are aware of or have explored.
