iNexus

Eleven years ago, a handful of the country's ignited minds, started a fire, a fire in the hearts of students to compete in the country's best robotics competitions. Eleven years from then, fueled by the efforts of lakhs of participants, this fire has grown, defying all odds and defying all conventions, to become the world's first college festival to breach its country's boundaries and hold a truly international college robotics competition. Now in its twelfth year Techfest gives you iNexus, a platform for the world's best in robotics to perform at one stage, one level and for one prize, to be crowned as the best in the world.

Prizes worth USD 2600 to be won.

In its maiden year, iNexus would be held at:

• University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka
• Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani - Dubai, UAE
• Robo Cluster, Odense, Denmark

The top few teams from each center will get air fare and a direct entry to the finals of iNexus in Arthrobot - The International Robotics Challenge to be held in January at Techfest 2009. Anyone else can also participate in the final round at Techfest.

iNexus Final Round

The grand finale of iNexus, Arthrobot (iNexus Final Round) will be held in Techfest 2009 at IIT Bombay, India, where winning teams from all the international iNexus centres will be pitted against each other. Arthrobot is second level round of iNexus competition. However it is open for others, who have not won or taken part in the iNexus International Rounds.
