Unreal Tournament 2004

1. Competition Structure

• Tournament will be knock out. The player who wins their 1st stage match advances to the next stage.




• The knock out continues till we get final 4 top scoring players for the semi finals.




• The match between the players loosing the semi finals will also be played to decide the 3rd place in the competition.

2. Match Format

• 4 players will play Deathmatch game in the Prelims and 1 v/s 1 in Quarters, Semis and Finals.




• Tie Breaker

1. If the prelims match results in a draw then the tied players will play 1 v/s 1in the same map and the player getting the 1st frag shall be the winner of the match.

2. If tie occurs in quarters, semis or finals then the player getting the 1st frag in overtime shall be the winner of the match.

3. Game Settings

• The game play settings are:

1. Game mode : Deathmatch

2. Time limit : 15 minutes

3. Weapon shaking : Off

4. Force respawn : On

5. Players must be ready: On

6. Weaponstay : Off

7. Game speed: 1.0

8. Air control : 0.35

9. Translocator: Off

10. Enable player highlighting :On

11. Use team skins: On

12. Tickrate : 40




• The following mutators will be used :




1. Anti TCC (vs.1.18c)

2. No adrenalin

3. No superweapons

4. UT comp (vs.1.7a)

5. Lightening Guns




• The following settings will be used for UT comp:




1. Bright skins mode : UT comp

2. Hitsound mode : Everywhere

3. Double damage : Off

4. Map voting : Off




• Maps included for prelims are :




1. DM-Rankin

2. DM-Deck_17




• Maps included for the Quarters, Semis and Finals are:




1. DM-Roughinery

2. DM-Compressed

3. DM-Ironic

4. Rules

• Players must be present in the tournament area at the notifications schedule. Players are advised to be present a few minutes before the schedule to avoid any unpredictable delay. If the player is not present at the notification schedule, he shall be disqualified.




• A practice match of duration 5 minutes will be played so that players can set their mouse sensitivity etc. after which no change in settings will be allowed.

All the above rules should be followed without argument with the tournament official, the violation of which may result in player or team disqualification, the decision to do the same lies in the hand of the tournament official present there.
