Origami Workshop

The Art of Origami is one of the cultural treasures of mankind that offers us enormous amounts of joy. Watch yourself transform that innocuous looking sheet of paper into something unimaginably appealing to the senses! Prepare yourself for an interactive workshop by Himanshu Aggarwal and his team from Origami Mitra, India's biggest organization of Origami artists, wherein a background of Origami (its origins,the advancements in the art over the years etc) interspersed with a step-wise demonstration of creating some 3D objects (the audience will be given sheets of paper too!), both simple (to begin with) and complex in nature.

The talk would highlight the relevance and significance of Origami in today's scenario,and some interesting mathematical + scientific applications of Origami. To wrap things up, there'd be a creatively challenging competition to put your new found knowledge to the test! With prizes, of course!
