The program, along with a readme file should be placed in a folder. The readme file should contain all the instructions in detail. Archive this folder (zip / tar / rar / tar.gz / tgz / bz2 are acceptable formats) with the filename PFxxxx.ext where ext is the filename extension and mail it to ashish_garg@techfest.org with the subject 'PFxxxx' where xxxx is your team registration number.
The mail must contain all information needed to extract the file.
Techfest is not responsible for any mail delivery failures. Upon successful receipt of the mail, an acknowledgement will be sent back to the participant.
The teams must adhere to the sportsmanship spirit of the event. Judges reserve the right to disqualify any team found indulging in activities like plagiarism.
Judges' decision shall be final and binding on all.
The organizers reserve the rights to change any or all of the above rules as they deem fit. Change in rules, if any will be highlighted on the website and notified to the registered participants.
A team may consist of a maximum of 2 members. Students from different educational institutes can form a team.
All students with a valid identity card of their respective educational institutes are eligible to participate in Photo Finish at Techfest 2008.

15th - 23rd December 2007: Trial Submission (Judges will give valuable feedback to the teams who have participated. This round is NOT mandatory for participation in the finals.)
4th - 6th January 2008: Final submission (Judging will be done on the basis of this round alone.)
Last date of submission is extended to 20th of January.
